|Q&A for Restaurant Chairs|
|Are chairs fully assembled?|
|Yes, wood chairs come fully assembled. In some particular cases, minor assembly will be required to attach the seats to the frame.
|How accurate are the wood stains?|
|Due to a number of factors, including lighting, angles and your computer monitor, colors online may vary slightly from actual colors. Also, please keep in mind that one color may vary across different wood species. If you are unsure, please request a color chip to be sent to you.
|Metal chairs vs wood chair considerations|
|Metal chairs and barstools are, without doubt, more durable than wood chairs and barstools. Touch-ups can be done using a black marker or black spray paint.
|What how many chairs do I fit per table?|
|What is the durability of metal chairs and barstools?|
|Metal chairs and barstools from American Hospitality Furniture are unique in that they are 100% all welded. What does this mean to you? It means that with no fasteners or screw secured joints, these products are not at risk of breakage. Chairs have one welded support ring, while barstools typically have two welded support things.
American Hospitality Furniture has the benefit of being rated by the Better Business Bureau for excellent customer service. We maintain our excellent feedback because of our focus on quality and service!
|What is the warranty on chairs and how durable are they?|
|Wood chairs are typically warrantied for 1 year against structural defects. Some manufacturer's will offer longer warranties. Customers must take care to protect the wood finish by handling with care. We recommend metal restaurant chairs for high traffic, high wear and tear purposes.
The wood chairs on our site are made from European Beech wood or other durable hard wood species. We do not, under any situation, sell chairs made from rubber wood, as some of our low cost competitors do. Rubber wood is found in sub-tropical environments where moisture and heat can cause the wood to expand and contract. In the US, under different temperature and humidity, rubber wood chairs will expand and contract, thereby falling apart over time. We do not believe in compromising quality with lower pricing.
|Why does it take 1-2 weeks to ship?|
|Chairs and barstools are not an off-the-shelf item. The manufacturer must take time to properly assemble each item, and check for damages before shipping out. Some companies advertise next day shipping because they bring in chairs fully assembled directly from overseas and ship out without careful inspection, in some cases without even opening the box! This is not industry best practice and usually results in customers receiving:
|Wood Veneer Seat vs. Solid Wood Seat|
|Wood veneer seats, also known as plywood seats, are constructed from machine pressed wood boards to form a solid seat. Veneer seats are thinner and more prone to surface cracking and wood stain wear and tear than solid wood seats. Solid wood seats are typically constructed from oak and more durable.
